“We were treated like royalty at The Sands! Customer service with helpful, friendly staff was excellent at the hotel. Lovely large bedrooms and bathrooms and all with ocean views. Impressive reception and communal areas, beach, infinity pool and poolside all good. Breakfasts were good with plenty of choice and an eggcellent egg cooking lady! We have mixed feelings about the buffet dinner though because although there was plenty of choice, the quality of the food was not brilliant with the exception of the desserts. Extras such as drinks and bar snacks were expensive, wine especially so and it was noticeable that few guests had wine with their meals. The entertainment was low key and suited us nicely. All in all we had a very pleasant stay.”

The Sands made it a very special time for us, creating a lovely drink to celebrate our anniversary and making a delicious cake - all with fireworks. A lovely cake was also presented to us on my husband's birthday. The Sands Resort's staff were, as previously, very welcoming and helped us to celebrate our special treat in a great way.
